Performance Tracker Configuration

Our Performance Tracker is based on an Alpha/Beta system. Here's how it works.

The Alpha Beta Tracking system is designed to provide insight into the performance of your portfolio relative to a base value. In this context, the current portfolio value represents the alpha, while the base portfolio value represents the beta. Alpha signifies the current value, while beta signifies the base value against which performance is measured. We use USD to express these values.

Alpha (Current Portfolio Value): This value represents the total worth of your investments at present market prices. It offers a real-time snapshot of your portfolio's value if you were to liquidate your holdings immediately.

Beta (Base Portfolio Value): This figure illustrates the value of your portfolio as if it were still at its initial state, recalculated using current market prices. Comparing this to your current portfolio value allows you to gauge the effectiveness of your investment decisions over time, eliminating the need to recall market conditions from the start of your investment journey.

Re-base Tracking: If you intervened in your portfolio by depositing or withdrawing funds, the tracker will show this diversion. You can re-base the tracker at that point to remove the diversion and make the Alpha and Beta values track each other again. Each data point on the chart has a "sample" number. Get the "sample" number of the point where the Alpha and Beta value diverged and input it below.

Our Alpha Beta Tracking system provides a comprehensive overview of your portfolio's performance, enabling you to make informed decisions and optimize your investment strategy.
