Performance Tracker Configuration
Our Performance Tracker uses an Alpha/Beta system to provide clear insights into your portfolio’s performance relative to a base value.
- Alpha (Current Portfolio Value): Represents the total current worth of your investments at market prices, offering a real-time snapshot of your portfolio’s liquidation value.
- Beta (Base Portfolio Value): Reflects the portfolio’s value recalculated at current market prices but based on its initial state. Comparing Beta to Alpha helps you evaluate how well your investments have performed over time without needing to recall past market conditions.
Both values are expressed in USD for consistency.
Re-base Tracking
If you deposit or withdraw funds, the tracker will detect this change as a divergence between Alpha and Beta. To realign the tracker, you can re-base it by entering the “sample” number corresponding to the point where the divergence began. This resets the baseline, allowing Alpha and Beta to track each other accurately again.
